Every deployment is evaluated for its quality and impact. At the end of a deployment the headteacher of the receiving school provides a written evaluation of:

• The impact made by the SLE in each of the areas identified in the plan and the evidence to support this

• The SLE’s effectiveness in facilitating support and influencing change

• The overall success of the deployment

The SLE is invited to provide their comments on the success of the deployment and the challenges that were overcome. The completed evaluation is returned to the teaching school who address any causes for concern.

Evaluations are collated by the ESLCN and reported to the appropriate Board. The Boards evaluate the support overall, including value for money, and any improvements to be made.
